Spyfall at thespyfall.com is a browser game for friends who enjoy questions, bluffing and a little suspicion. Play locally on one shared phone or join an online room on separate devices. No download, account registration or payment is needed.
Designed for groups of 3–10, with a 5-minute default timer adjustable from 30 seconds to 15 minutes. Choose from 72 places and 132 items, with optional character roles for places.
Choose Local play, add your friends' names, and pass the phone around. Each person reveals their card, hides it, and hands the phone to the next player. Then put the phone on the table and talk. Read the one-phone party game guide for setup and group-size suggestions.
With Insanity Mode, some innocent players see a related wrong word. Hotel and Hospital both have reception desks, staff and beds, so contradictory answers can still sound convincing. Turn on Insane spy and even spies must work out that their own card is misleading.
Create an online room and share its four-character code or invitation link. Each player privately views their own card. Talk in the same room or over your usual call; the host starts the round and controls the end-game reveal.
Most players see the same secret place or item. Ask each other questions without giving the word away, then call a vote when someone sounds suspicious. Innocents try to eliminate every spy; spies try to survive. At the end, watch each player's card reveal automatically, with spies last. Pause, resume or skip the sequence. See the rules and win conditions.
Spyfall is a social deduction party game. Most players know a secret place or item; spies have to blend in while everyone asks questions and votes on suspects.

The game is designed for groups of 3–10. Add enough players for your chosen spies and insane innocents, plus at least one regular innocent. Local play shares one phone; online play uses a device for each player.

Yes. Choose Online play, create a room, and share its four-character code or room link. Each player joins on their own device. Use your usual voice or video call for the conversation.
Insane innocents receive a related wrong word without knowing it, such as Hospital instead of Hotel. Insane spy also gives spies a wrong word instead of revealing their identity. Related words are preferred; large groups may use a wider pool to keep hallucinations distinct.
Load the site while connected. Local play uses one device and does not need an online room. Loading the game from scratch without internet is not guaranteed; online rooms require a connection.
Innocents win by eliminating all spies. Spies win when the host concludes with spies still in the game, including after time runs out, or when remaining spies equal or outnumber remaining innocents after a vote. This version does not automatically judge spoken location guesses.
